I wanted to once again pass along some key statistics from last week on the Real Estate Market here in Charlotte. I hope you are finding these updates useful. The statistics I provide below all come directly from the Canopy MLS system as well as ShowingTime for the City of Charlotte, NC.
Home sales again continued to trend up in Charlotte from their low at the end of March. Homes that went under contract increased 29.3% from the week prior, from 229 homes the week of 4/6 to 4/12, to 296 homes from 4/13 to 4/19. Home sales the last full week before the Stay at Home Orders were released, the week of 3/9, had 442 homes go under contract.
Showings continued to increase last week as well. There were 3,190 showings, compared to 2,132 the prior week, a 49.6% increase but still much lower than the 6,917 showings the week of 3/9.
Over 314 homes were listed last week. Of those new listings, 85 (27%) of those homes also went under contract!
If you would like information on any property in the Charlotte Metro and surrounding areas, I would be happy to help. Also, if you have any questions on your property, or would like a Comparative Market Analysis of your home, please let me know.
Have a great week!
